Renee Zimmerman, FNP, was raised in Menard, Texas, and graduated from high school in 1975. She pursued her nursing education at LVN School in Fort Worth, later earning her undergraduate degree from Angelo State University and a Master’s degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. With a lifelong dedication to healthcare, Renee began her journey in the field at just 13 years old at Menard Hospital. She went on to gain extensive experience, working for 19 years at Kimble Hospital in Junction, five years as a school nurse for MISD, and five years at Menard Manor. For the past 11 years, she has been a dedicated provider at Frontera Healthcare, officially joining FHN in 2012. In her free time, Renee enjoys baking, cooking, supporting Menard High School sports, and cherishing time with her four grandchildren. Healthcare remains a vital and meaningful part of her life.
